Hey TAT Family!
So, I had the pleasure of attending Taste of the Cowboys 2018 fundraising event benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). The event was held at the impressive Ford Center at The Star in Frisco. It was a great night of delicious food and amazing live entertainment, all in support of raising money to fight hunger in North Texas. It was a perfect event for Cowboys fans, as there were past and present players and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in attendance, and what’s a Cowboys’ event without Rowdy.

The event was set up like a tailgate on field with 30 gourmet food stations featuring some of the best chefs around North Texas. There was a large variety of food and drinks to enjoy, as we were being entertained by two great bands. Big Joe Walker gave the crowd some bold Texas-style country music, and Jordan Kahn Orchestra kept us dancing to all the top 40 hits.
There was a silent auction with a lot of nice items to bid on during the event. A live auction, and football toss that benefited the NTFB’s Child Programs was also held. The live auction was a fun experience, with some unique items to bid on, and the football toss had people donating money, in return for a football signed by some popular Cowboys.
I had so much fun at the event – supporting a good cause, and of course tasting different food and drinks. I’m, definitely planning to attend next year’s event, and you should too.
Here are some of my favorite bites from the night.
